Who runs the site
Dharma Jobs (dharmajobs.org) is run by Mladen Gorchev, who decides how the information below is used. For any privacy question or request, email hello@dharmajobs.org.
What we collect and why
- Email sign-ups. If you sign up for updates, we keep your email address and how often you want to hear from us, so we can send you new jobs, events and guides. We rely on your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time and we delete your address on request.
- Listings you submit. When you post a job, we keep the listing details and the contact email you give, which we only use to ask about your listing. The contact email is not published.
- Analytics, only if you accept. With your consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country or city), the device type, and, for Clarity, anonymised recordings of clicks and scrolling, with text you type masked. We use this only to improve the site. If you choose “Reject”, neither loads.
- Server logs. Our host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run the site securely.
Listings and events on the site are gathered from public pages of universities and Buddhist organizations and link back to the original. They contain no personal data about our visitors.
Services that handle data for us
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Supabase: stores listings, sign-ups and the administrator’s login.
- Google Analytics (Google) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): analytics, only with your consent.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK and EU, including in the United States, under their standard data protection terms. If we start using a newsletter service, we will add it here.
Cookies
We only set analytics cookies after you accept them. The others are needed for the site to work or simply remember your choices. You can change your choice at any time: .

How long we keep data
- Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Listings: while they are relevant; contact emails are deleted on request.
- Analytics: as set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (see the table above).
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent at any time, and object to how we use it. Email hello@dharmajobs.org and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

If we change how we use data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions are always welcome at hello@dharmajobs.org.
